Today (Monday 17/12/2018) Equip2 officially announces that they have signed an exclusive supplier agreement with McCloskey Washing Systems to become the official suppliers of MWS equipment for the New Zealand and Oceania territories.
McCloskey Washing Systems are a modular washing and screening plant setup designed for medium to large volumes of sand and product processing. These models would be the first modular systems for Equip2 to offer to the market as their current products from Keestrack, Portafill and Rockster are mobile tracked based equipment.
According to Bert Hart head of sales at Equip2; the decision to add modular equipment to the lineup was not one taken lightly and a supplier who offered systems that were in fitting with the Equip2 methodology was tantamount.
"We have been thinking for some time on adding additional machine models with different capabilities to our line up and after being approached by a number of vendors, then doing our research, we decided that MWS would be the best fit for us and our brand. MWS offer a compelling machine solution but also hold similar core values to our own, which at an organisational level is important to us." -Bert Hart
Initially Equip2 plan on adding two key models to their inventory. The CSP120 (Compact Sand Plant) and S130 Rinser. The S130 Rinser is designed for medium sized operations that favour the ability to be able to shift often. The CSP120 is designed for larger operations that are on the move less often and looking for effective high tonne per hour processing of sand.
Billy Hart head of operations sees the addition of McCloskey Washing Systems as a completion of the circle of product offerings by Equip2. He mentions Equip2's well known service capabilities and start to finish expertise in implementing new machinery as one of the main values to choose this equipment.
"Our customers have been asking us to supply washing systems, but we wanted to make sure of a few things first. In adding MWS to our line up; we first asked ourselves if we would continue to surpass purchasers' expectations in service and technical expertise. Once we could say yes, then we looked at adding in this new aspect to our product line up." - Billy Hart
Equip2 will be stocking MWS machinery on a project by project basis with the first machines arriving in April.
